If you eat it, weigh it then log it. MFP in a nutshell.0

I like to weigh solids in grams and liquids as milliliters instead of both in ounces. I find it to be slightly more accurate but that's just me trying to be extremely precise. Scales are awesome though!0

I just got my scale yesterday, and let me tell you... its life changing!!! After reading some articles on here about weighing and how most suggested serving sizes are off, I knew I had to be more accurate. I now realize I was definitely going over my calories for the day following what labels suggested instead of weighing. Someone on MFP had said "if your not weighing your food, your wasting your time trying to count calories."
Best thing I've found is to place the container on the scale and use the "tare" button to zero out the container and then add your food to get the correct grams. Grams seem to be the easiest and most recorded along with ounces.
