Really bad carb cravings!!!

I'm currently craving carbs constantly. I love rice, bread, and pasta. I can eat it all day. I eat my daily amount of calories along with a hour of Zumba at least 3 times a week. I get at least 8 glasses of fluids per day, more when I work out. Carbs are my weakness and I'm afraid I would get to the point of over doing it. How do you avoid these cravings?

I have less cravings when I eat lower carbs -- higher carb eating just not an option for me. For example, I do better when I don't eat bread and sugary foods. The cravings go away and I feel better. But this approach doesn't work for everyone. Some people just set a calorie limit and eat to it. For me not worth the physical craving.

Ok, I'll increase my protein intake and see if that works. Will keep you posted!

More protein and fat, and fruit.

The less you eat, the less you crave. Honest. Whenever I see a "pattern" with my sweets eating, I cut it out completely for 2 weeks. By the end of those 2 weeks I don't want them. Not even a taste.

I focus mainly on calories and the protein, but then making sure i get plenty of fiber and prelogging calories makes it easier. Also, i bring in foods i love as it helps me stay on track.

Learn to love protein just as much and hit a solid protein goal every day.
