Bad boxing session today

Hello guys
I had a bad session today felt sluggish I eat to much food before training 2 chicken burgers home made in the oven though 2 hours
I was not active kept burping gagging reflex
At the end no energy had the craps a little stomach sore
Before going I did not want to go but I still went

Try something lite like a smoothie with peanutbutter, or a greek yogurt. Loaded with protein but doesnt land in your stomach like a brick. My sons an MMA fighter and he ony drinks water before training. He says its cause he doesnt wanna puke up food if its too strenuous of a workout. He eats well afterwards.0

I do Muay Thai. I'll eat an apple with peanut butter, a string cheese, or something else small and light 2-3 hours before a session. But otherwise I don't eat or drink anything immediately before any of my work outs.0

I box for a hour every Thursday night at 6pm I have my snack at 3pm and just have water before I box
