Belly Dancing Fitness

I'm going to start belly dancing daily in hopes of losing weight.

Here is my question.

I have a hard time making myself exercise
1. I don't like sporty, traditional exercising.
2. I really really really don't want to lose my curves. They're awesome, just accumulating a little fat. Gotta get it gone.

More than not liking to exercise (I make myself) I'm having a hard time because I don't want to lose too much. I have curvy hips and a great butt but the tops of my legs are fatty. Then also there's also the top. I'm busty and I love it. I don't want to lose it. But I want to tone my upper arms. And then I have the tiny waist, which I also love. Don't want it to grow while toning it. But I want to lose a little muffin top I've accumulated.

WIll belly dancing work for what I want?

Also if anyone else has done any belly dancing, before and after pics I'd love to see. Can't find any on Google images.
