What's yours?

It's Friday, the weekend is coming, and I know for me the weekend is the hardest time to make the right decisions. My husband doesn't work so we're together and we want to binge on yummy foods, go out together, and it's more convenient to go out and grab something quick than to make something healthy.
So because of that, I want to know what is YOUR motivation for losing this weight & getting back into shape? What keeps you focused during the trying times?
Personally my son is one month old and every time I look at him I think of the future and running around with him in the yard and creating lots of fun memories that I don't want my health or my weight keeping me down!
So these are my stats:
Prepregnancy: 165
Pregnancy: 198
Current: 162
Goal: 140
Pounds lost since I've started this weight loss journey last Sunday: 4

Health is my motivation. I don't think I'd even be trying if looks were the only concern, because quite frankly I like the way I look and so does my husband. Children were a great motivatior for me too. I never had a weight problem until my nest emptied. Now I am working to take off those pounds. While there are no guarantees in life I plan to do everything possible to be able to play with my grandchildren and maybe even great grandchildren someday.

Weekends are my biggest challenge as well. I eat pretty low calories during the week just so I can relax and enjoy the weekends.

@cassiecalcote such a great question! Thanks for asking :)

I hadn't thought about it in awhile but this time around my motivation is integrity. I want to prove I can keep promises to myself and do what I say I'll do.

I'm in it for a lot of reasons.
    More confidence.
    My health.
To look (and walk) sexy in heels.
    Not missing out on life.
But #######1 is to be a mom. I am not sure losing weight will help but even adoption will be easier not being morbidly obese.

    CW 319.8

I've lost 47.2 and I am not turning back.

Well, about a year ago I crossed the line into obesity. I noticed that I was always 8 feet or so behind my family when we were walking even though I was walking as fast as I could. My leg would be killing me and I would just want to sit down. It was hard to bend over and pick things up. I was out of breath climbing stairs in my house. I had pain in my hips. I had trouble getting comfortable at night. Buying clothes was difficult. My dd complained about my very loud snoring often.
I got mad one day. I was only 40 years old. This is not how I wanted to live out my life. I didn't want to end up sitting in a chair or have big health problems because of my weight.
I've lost about 25 lbs and it is a big difference. I didn't realize how bad I had been feeling until I started losing. I have a lot more energy and can do more things. I'm not in pain now.
I want to lose 20-30 more lbs.
