Whey Protien vs Plant Fusion Protien

I am trying to add mass and taking down excess of food is very difficult for more as I have a weak stomach to begin with. A big breakfast feels like it covers me for hours. So I am trying to space out my foods and eat small portions more frequently.
I started adding more Vitamin D milk, high protien bread, and peanut butter into my diet. I am also adding protient and fiber shakes.
However, my question is weather Whey Protien or Plant Fusion Protien is a better option. When I drink my shakes with Whey Protein, it seems to go right through me and induces more gas. Using the Plant Fusion Protien, it sits with my stomach a little bit better. I am wondering if there is any difference in the gains I will receiver with the two different types of protien powder.
I also noticed that there is less cholesterol and dairy in the PFP compared to the WP. Just curious if anyone had any insight to offer on the subject.
Thanks in advance. This forum is pretty helpful.
