What music do you listen to when you're working out?

I blast Nirvana's Nevermind and The Beatles Let it Be. I really hate working out, so I like to listen to some of my favorite bands to make the time pass by while doing my Gazelle edge for 45 looooong minutes. :'(

While I actually love working out, that may be because I also love blasting my favorite tunes during it. Anything from FFDP to Stevie Wonder to some guilty pleasures like SUM 41. Right now some favorites in the mix are Baby Metal, Fear Factory, Soilwork, Whitesnake, Joan Jett and always some Queen (Don't stop me now - by far my favorite motivation tune)

I love listening to music that gets my adrenaline going...a mix of some Beatles, Linkin Park, some Queen, Metallica, AC/DC, Adam Lambert, Joan Jett, Stevie Nix, U2, Rolling Stones. But then I've also got Madonna, Lady Gaga, Duran Duran, Emineim, Kid Rock, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Jason DeRulo, Yandel, Rhianna, BillyIdol, Bullet for my Valentine, Breaking Benjamin, David Guetta, Def Leopard, Disturbed, Marilyn Manson, Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull, the Who....

Metal, more metal, and occasionally some punk. \m/ \m/

I don't make playlists because I'm lazy but just alternate albums on my MP3 player.

Not sure if the OP is someone who enjoys podcasts, but I have listened to podcasts before while grinding out cardio on a machine. It helps me zone out from what I'm doing easier. For lifting though, music.

Audiobooks for me. For a while now I have been listening to a lot of the old classics that you can download for free.

I listen to Apple Music Radio, Workout-Dance station. I need variety and get bored with the same songs.

So happy to see I'm not the only FFDP fan on here. My lifting playlist is primarily heavy metal, mostly FFDP, volbeat and other bands mixed in. Cardio is a more upbeat playlist.

I don't listen to music when I workout. The ear buds are annoying. I spend time praying and talking to my Heavenly Father. :)

I play the same few songs and I mostly just run a mile 5 times a week along with watching calorie intake. But my songs are Collard Greens, BBHMM by Rihanna, and Twist my Fingaz by YG. Rap gets me pumped for a run lol.

I've been obsessed lately with Pop Goes Punk and Pop Goes Metal playlists - punk and metal covers of pop songs. Fun and fast, which is what I like for working out.

I play music when I run. When I first started i made a Playlist of some of my favorite upbeat songs. I now changed to my favorite slow beat album portishead - portishead as it helps me run slower and much much longer.

I'm weird. I listen to either sports radio (especially fantasy football analysis) or talk radio. Music sometimes, but time seems to run by faster for me when I'm listening to these 2.

When I go for my lunchtime walks I listen to a podcast. It definitely makes the 30mins walking the grey parking lot, with the same scenery, over and over much less mundane than it did when I listened to music. I end up going a little faster since I'm not unconsciously restricting myself to a tempo.

Hard rock/metal mostly, but I listen to that all the time so its not much of a deviation for me.
Special mention for Ozzy's Let Me Hear You Scream; I can (and have) repeat 1 that for cardio, I mean come on:
'Nobody said it's easy; it's do or die, only the strong survive!'
'If you're gonna go down, go loud, go strong, go proud, go on or go home!'
That song was made to rage work out to :D
