Is it better to eat before or after you workout?

It's best to eat whenever fits your schedule or needs the best. If eating before a workout makes you sick, don't eat before your workouts. If not eating before a workout makes you sick, eat before you workout. For the average person meal timing should be based on personal preference.

Depends on your goals, bud. When I'm cutting, I definitely lift in a fasted state. I'm big on intermittent fasting. I do combine it with keto when I'm really trying to get down to my BF% goals. Right now I just started my bulk so I have expanded my eating window and have definitely increased my carb-intake while simultaneously keeping my fat intake to a minimal level. Protein stays within a 20+/- differential or so. I actually even carb-up ON TOP of my already increased daily carbohydrates. I can bulk on 600 g of carbs every 3-4 days or so.

Btw, almost forgot. Haha! Your caloric intake is extremely important as well and depending on the goals you've set for yourself, you might have to play around with that. Be meticulous, and once you start seeing the progress you've wanted for yourself, stay within whatever range you're in -- whether you're at a surplus or deficit.
