Decreasing rate of loss/increasing calories

I have some where between 14 and 24 pounds yet to lose (not sure where I'll feel comfortable). I've already lost 60. I just decided to drop my rate of loss from 1 pound/week to 1/2 pound/week. This will increase my calorie allotment from 1290 to 1360 (yes, I am short and older). My concern is that I may be doing this prematurely but I'm hoping to ease into maintenance. What do you do/recommend?
