Whole30 - SO SLEEPY!

I’m only on day 2 of my first Whole 30. The only thing I’m battling is headaches so far and I’m exhausted! No issues sleeping, just issues staying awake. I've never been a coffee person, but I dranks lots of diet soda. With the Whole30, I'm only drinking water with lemon or lime.
I’m using the Whole 30 to help with my cravings and lower my consumption of sugar and soda which I thought was getting out of control. Also, I want to feel better! I also plan to incorporate working out, but I can’t imagine doing anything other than sleeping. Does this go away soonish or do I need to make sure I’m incorporating other foods to up energy levels?
THANKS!

Even though I'm not a big supporter of diets that cut things out, I have heard that the secret to Whole30 is to battle through the first 4 days. If it's something that you can't do, don't.0

I wouldn’t normally suggest cutting food groups either, but in this case I’m battling a bad relationship with food. I’m a binger, and sweets and bread are my big triggers. If I can get ahold of those cravings, I figure maybe I can get ahold of my control over those things. Maybe I CAN have just one piece of cake or maybe I CAN have one slice of lasagna. I was also developing a sour stomach and bad cramps when consuming dairy, so I thought maybe I was developing an intolerance to some dairy. The Whole30 looked tough, but I like that I can eat fruit, sweet potatoes, veggies, ,meats, ect… and not be too obsessed over calories and carbs. I can get some variety and get creative. I don’t want to go into situations fearing my lack of control when I get near those “triggers”. Thanksgiving is coming up, and I wanna get ahead of the game! I love the holiday, but my anxiety with the food is always in the way of my ability to relax and enjoy it. I hope you're right about the 4 days! I'll power through!
Good suggestion on tea. My cabinet right now only had “sleepy time” tea LOL! I’ll pick something stronger up. A little shouldn’t hurt. Maybe going from 4 diet sodas a day to only water wasn’t a good idea. Maybe I can’t just go cold turkey like I thought.

I've done the Whole30 three times now, the first week I am always sleepy! I promise it goes away!
If by week 2 you are still sleepy, look at your fat macro, to see if you're getting enough.0
