I'm new to the group. Could someone tell me how to get to groups listings.

Hi my name is Katherine. I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in June of 2011. I was working things pretty good. And then I got this bright idea that I would try to do it without taking my metformin. Talk about messing myself up. Well I'm back on the metformin I'm using this fitness program I guess what you call here. I've already figured out how to get groups I don't know how that even came up. I'm trying to do my exercises walking. Of course keeping house and and all of that other stuff. I'm still trying to figure out how to eat correctly. Even though although I eat the calories well sometimes I go over a little late tonight I'm under but I'm trying to keep the calories you know it. But that didn't do anything for my sugar you know if my diabetes reading. I thought doing the right thing and we had a Subway sandwich Sunday and this morning my reading was 305, Sunday morning I had it it down to 2:05. And last Thursday when I went to the doctor was 466 in my a/c one was 11. I figured out no more subways and be careful what kind of snack I have late at night. I dislike 4600 steps today now for some people thats not all that much for me if it's kind of pushing but I know I need to get more steps in per day. Right now I would just really like to be able to do 5000 continuously and then graduate up to continuously like 7500 and then the next step would be 10000 steps per day on a continuous basis. So that means walking this winter and I bought a new long length coat so I can walk and not be cold. Any helpful ideas or friends would be nice. I am a 59 year old woman obviously was the name Catherine. I'm single I'm a Christian I care for my older sister we have several pets and I have a grown daughter and two grandkids from I call her my adopted daughter although she legally isn't but I have two grandchildren from her.

Today my blood sugar was 170. From 466 on the 16th. I still have time to get it lower before I see the doctor.0
