At 45 yrs old and 3 kids later I've discovered my passion and competitive nature for physical fitness and nutrition. I did not work out when I was younger nor did I work out after each pregnancy. So my question is. Will I ever lose my belly? I work out 4 days a week. Weight lifting as well as cardio I've never had visible abs Because I've had children and starting my fitness program later in life. Did I miss my opportunity to have visible abs?

Will you lose your belly? Yes.
Did you miss your opportunity for abs? Hard to tell. Sounds like you are doing amazing workout wise and if you keep it up you will find out your answer. The most important thing is that your body can look great without abs by working out as some people's genes make it easier or near impossible to have visible abdominals. Keep it up and just focus on being the healthiest you!

visible abs requires a low body fat level. You would need to continue to eat at a calorie deficit until you body fat is in the teens. You also have to work then out so they are more pronounced when the body fat level gets low enough.

Thanks for the advice. Sounds like I need to lose body fat%. I know I have ads under my belly I can feel them at rest and during workouts. I have the stamina and strength
Being the best me possible is definitely the goal! But I don't know if I'll notice when I get there
