Deep painful thigh bruise keeping me from exercise

I took a nasty spill off my bicycle on Saturday and got scraped up pretty good. My scrapes are fine and are slowly healing, but the bruise I suffered on my thigh is very painful. My primary sources of cardio have been walking and biking, but at this moment in time, it's too painful to do either for more than just a few minutes. I was hoping you guys could give me some suggestions of ways to increase my cardio without putting more stress on my injury. The only other idea I can come up with is swimming, but I'm not a good swimmer.
Any ideas?

If you Google "chair cardio" or "seated cardio", I'll bet you'll get quite a few decent hits. I'm pretty sure Sparkpeople.com has a seated cardio workout video on their site. Also, as silly as it sounds, punch the air as fast as you can. Just jabs out in front of you standing if possible, seated if needed, alternating arms. If you really "strike" hard and go fast, you'll feel your heart rate increase, that's something at least.0
