For the last 3 months i noticed that i have been gaining fat.(atleast 8 pounds) I havent stopped exercising and my diet did not change. I was eating around 1600 and now trried to drop it lower but didnt succed. I looked at my logs and noticed that that is just the time when i started to eat more and more protein and use shakes. When i started to eat around 1300 I was eating around 120 grams of protein and i weigh around 130 pounds right now. When i was happy with my body and was my leanest (i was able to see my abs, felt healthy...) i was eating around 1600 cals (i was trying to gradually go up to around 2000-2200 wich was my maintance including my activity and ate not more than 60 grams of protein.
Could to much protein be the cause of my weightgain?
Thanks a lot
