Anyone wanna do insanity with me? STARTING TOMORROW!

Hi guys, so basically I really want to get skinny and toned by the time I go on holiday in September! My goal is 9 stone and I am hoping insanity will help with this! I did do the 30 day shred along with davina intense as well as running and have lost 8 pounds but really want to lose a further 10 pounds....would be my dream! Hoping to find some people who want help keep each other motivated...go through the ups and downs together and help push each other through! hope people see this haha! thanks for reading if you actually get to this point of my very long essay haha.

You won't really lose a lot of weight with insanity. You will gain muscle and tone up though, so keep that in mind. At least that's what I've been reading and have heard from friends.
If your goal is to lose weight, simply monitoring your nutritional intake, eating at a caloric deficit and implementing any sort of exercise/cardio will get you results. Whether its going on a walk a few times a week, or doing 30 day shred, ripped in 30, weight lifting, etc.. It doesn't matter.
Insanity is awesome though, and I wish you luck0 -

Good luck, Cookie! It's a fun program, did it before and now doing a hybrid of it with P90X. It just was not the 'right' program for me, had to incorporate some strength training in there for my own personal style..but you will definitely tone, especially in your core You are gorgeous by the way!0

Just wanted to give you the heads up. A lot of people report actually gaining weight in the first while.. Mainly because of how hard you are working your muscles, and water retention.
Dont want you getting discouraged!
If you are going to do it.. Make sure you stick with it.. and take before pictures.

Oh boy, he is SOO right about the gain in the beginning. That ish irked me, went up about 6 pounds 3 weeks in lol...it can be discouraging, but give the scale a break and take measurements instead0 -

My husband and I just finished week 2 of insanity. He only lost 3lbs, but he lost 2 inches off his waist, 3 inches off navel, and 2.5 off his hips. His resting heart rate decreased from 70 to 58.
I didn't lose much weight, but I somehow lost an inch off my waist. My resting heart rate decreased from 72 to 60.
PS. We were in pretty bad shape, havn't exercised in ages.0
