Hey everyone! I'm new to the site and I just had my son just less than 6 weeks ago. I put on almost 100lbs during my pregnancy some due to bed rest unfortunately. Had a healthy 10lb baby boy and since October 7th I've lost almost 50lbs of the 100. My weight loss has slowed down a bit and I'm on here to stay accountable and for some support! Looking for friends on the same journey or any journey for that matter!

    My twins are a month older than your son and I am not officially starting my weight loss until December, but I would love to do this with other new moms! I will send you a friend request!

    Hey! Sorry I'm not looking for friends but I wanted to wish you luck.

    Just wanted to share something that may or may not relate to you-
    I also tried to diet when my baby was only 6 weeks... which turned out to be too much for me. I lost a bit but my body was not ready for such a step! I kept eating way more than I allowed myself, which made me feel like a failure. I wish I had only started when I was ready, around 3 months or so postpartum (and maybe more if you're nursing full time!)

    Now my baby is nearly 6 months old and so far I have lost 17 pounds and going strong.

    Not trying to derail you from your goals, but just remember that your body has to heal. Good luck with your weightloss, and if you feel it is very difficult then maybe take it easier for now.
