I a breast feeding mother. How do I know how many cals to take in and be able to lose weight. Im 27 5.8 tall 155lbs with a BMI of 33%.

Set your goal....
Use Sedentary to start out. MFP will probably give you a goal of 1200. (That seems to be a standard)
Breastfeeding is listed in the exercise section. You burn 20 calories an ounce. most put it in as 500 calories a day.... I pumped an average of 30oz a day so mine was 600 calories a day.
You would be eating the 1200+500 = 1700 calories a day plus eating back whatever exercise calories you have a day.0
