When I was in high school, I lost almost 50 pounds, but I did it in a very unhealthy way (way too much caloric restriction). I was bordering on anorexia and I think that's what led to my developing binge eating disorder, which I am still struggling with now. My problem is, I have completely lost all motivation to lose weight. I think I finally have all the right tools to do it in a healthy way, but when I'm faced with an urge to binge or don't want to exercise, I pretty much automatically give in and give up. I think that I've been trying to lose weight for so long that I've just kind of lost my drive, maybe because subconsciously, I don't think I can do it anymore. Does anyone have any tips on how to get out of this rut?

You will lose when you are ready. Try just logging what you eat for now, don't worry about the calories; quantity or quality, just log.
After a while you will see patterns of eating, these you can change slowly.
Don't worry about exercise; once you have a comfortable relationship with logging, and have moved to eating at a deficit, then start exercising. (You may find dropping your calories slowly to your deficit more comfortable, 50-100cals per day)
Baby steps with exercise too, walk, follow a programme on YouTube, hoola hoop- find something you like, do it for 10 min, then 15, then 20.

Make it an easy gentle life change that you value and cherish; not a battle.

    Cheers, h.

Just take each step at time.
Don't do too much all at once or your fill to much pressure.
Don't be hard on yourself everyone fill this way and need time to focus the mind with the body.
find if I read up of things I can see a clear goal.
Set my self small goals like 4 lb in 3 week.
Something I can do and fill good that I have.
If you set 12lb in 3 week it's unhealthy and your only get yourself down.
So small baby steps one at time.
Once you hit the small goals you can then move forward knowing you have done so well.. Good luck
