Is it ok to eat the same thing everyday?

usually, I eat the following:

breakfast: greek yogurt with some granola mixed in, a banana and a few strawberries

lunch: a slice of Ezekiel cinnamon raisin toast with a tbsp of peanut butter, and a bowl of fruit (raspberries/blueberries) and some carrots + hummus

dinner: turkey and avocado sandwich on whole grain, watermelon and some nuts like almonds or cashews

and i drink 2-3 cups of green tea a day and always carry a water bottle with me

so obviously there's a bit of variation from day to day but for the most part this is what i eat because this is what i usually have at my house. during the summer i don't really cook or anything as i am not always home kind of all over the place! but when my mom makes dinner I eat it in moderation.

I take an hour long walk when I wake up and I believe I usually burn 200-300 calories.

i haven't weighed myself, but i feel good and i'm pretty sure I can reach my goal weight in 2 months if I keep this up right? thanks in advance!

If you're meeting your calorie goals you can eat whatever you like. There's nothing wrong with eating the same meals unless you get bored of them.

I eat the same things every day pretty often. It's just myself and 2 young kids (7 & 3) and so I tend to be left with a bunch of leftovers. I try to get creative with them and take them to lunch the next day. For example, last week I grilled a beer can chicken. I don't like dark meat, so I took it to a friend at work. Then with the leftover white meat, I made quesadilas the next day. Last night I made grilled pork loin with a cumin crust and homemade mango salsa. With the leftovers today I made a wrap for lunch. I'm usually left with a few days worth of leftovers and I don't like to waste food, so I do what I can to make sure it all gets eaten.

If it is working for you and you feel good, I wouldn't worry about it! I am a creature of habit and I tend to go long periods where I eat the same things for lunch and breakfast. The only meal that tends to change is dinner because I am cooking for my family.

The biggest benefit to a variety of foods is that it helps ensure you get all of the vitamins and minerals that you need. As long as you are mindful of that and aren't running a deficiency that will hurt you down the road, then there's no problem.

Its fine aslong as your are meeting you net goal for the day, the only thing that might happen if boredom from eating the same thing, you might get to the point in a month or so when you can handle the same meal and ending up having something which causes you to go over your net calories.
