Hello! My name is Heather and my boyfriend is a marine currently deployed overseas. I don't really have any friends who have dated someone in the military before, so I'm just looking for people who understand this emotional roller coaster ride I feel like I'm constantly on. While he is away I'm hoping to lose the weight I have gained recently. Trying to use this time to really focus on myself and make healthy life changes. My husband is in the Navy. We haven't done a deployment yet, but we have dealt with being away from each other for extended periods. It's tough. We moved far away from all my friends and family, so I'm using this time to work on me, too.
