I'm Brittany and I'm 20 years old. SW: 407 lbs. CW: 400 lbs. Only a couple of months left until I meet with the surgeons and we schedule a date for my vertical sleeve gastrectomy. Changing habits is hard and I haven't lost as much weight as I'd like. I'm hoping tracking my food intake will help with perspective and portion control. Could use some friends on here to keep me motivated!

Hi Brittany. I'm Rhianna. I don't have or am planning on having any type of bariactric surgery, BUT I looked into it a lot. I did a ton of research and ultimately decided it wasn't for me. Instead I've been here since around July. I have learned a whole lot about weight loss and calories by reading the forums. My SW was 367, my CW is 318.4. My first goal is 299. I got a Fitbit and a food scale, one for home and one for work. And I track everything. Literally. Good and bad (even tho I believe there are no bad foods). I really believe that this works if you work it. A food scale and reading the labels will help you learn so much about portion control. I wish you success here! Feel free to add me if you'd like. Oh and I am not a MFP pro here, just wanted to share my thoughts :)
