"There is no compelling evidence that muscle carnitine is the rate-limiting step for fatty acid oxidation. Even worse, L-carnitine supplementation has failed repeatedly in studies examining its effect on weight loss"0

Hi! I've bought L carnitine one year ago in a web site of supplements food but I didn't feel any differences. After, During my studying I've read more times that L Carnitine is the molecule that helps the entry of fatty acids into the cell by using the specific channel. Increasing the level of L carnitine with this supplements doesn't change also the quantity of the channels on the cell's surface.. so, it means that the quantity of fatty acid that is oxidate is the same in both situations, with and without increasing levels of L Carnitine. You can read more about this in biochemistry books if you need more informations ciao ciao0
