Can't interact with statuses/progress?

Hi I'm new and have made some friends for mutual support however I can't like their updates? The app always says 'likes are unavailable at this time' -and I can't comment either. Any ideas? I am connected to WiFi .

    Sometimes it takes a day or two before you can do that to new friends. It is usually like that for me.

    I had one friend I couldn't like but didn't get the message you did. I Unfriended her then refriended her and everything worked. Of course that would be hard to do with all your friends.
