Zucchini noodles

I'm making zucchini noodles tonight. Gonna substitute the zucchini for the pasta I'm my spaghetti.
Any good tips? I've never made zucchini noodles before.

    I love z noodles! But not so much with tomatoe based sauce. However with Alfredo sauce... So good!

    Just noodle the zuc, then sauté the noodles and drain. There will be excess water after you cook. Don't forget to drain them ha

    Steam them a little, but not much. It's better when they have more bite and texture. Also, if your appliance has a setting to make thicker ones, use it. Finally, make more than you think you need, it looks like little when it's on the plate. Another option is, as you steam them, mix in a little salt, pepper, herbs, garlic, to give them an Italian sort of twist.

    I agree with the above poster about making more than you think. A lot of the water will cook out and it shrinks. I sautee mine with a little olive oil and garlic, topped with a marinara and spicy turkey Italian sausage :)
