so a serving size of chicken is like 3 oz. or something like that. Is eating say a pound of grilled chicken bad if it fits inside my calorie limits?

This goes for any meat also but it's mostly chicken for me0

No, as long as it fits within your goals or calorie range you should be fine.0
-
No, meat will never hurt you. *feels*0

Serving sizes are crazy anyway. Do they really expect people to share a convenience store sized bag of chips? If it fits in your calorie limits, go to town.0

No, I regularly eat between 12 and 18 ounces of chicken breast in one meal, almost every single day.0

a "serving size" is just to say that there are X calories in Y amount of this particular thing...an individual's needs are going to vary considerably...they aren't saying that 3 oz is all you should eat necessarily.0 -
I use to eat a rotisserie chicken everyday from Giant eagle for $4.99 it never hurt me and I mean everyday for two years..0

My serving size for chicken is 5 or 6 oz. I wouldn't feel good if I only at 3 oz. at a meal -- I need my protein! I just make sure it fits into my calorie/nutrient macros.0

No, if you are eating a well-balanced diet overall. If you are, most days, eating a pound of chicken, very few vegetables, and no fiber, then it will be a problem. In a week you'll start to experience some of the side effects of an unbalanced diet such as constipation. In a year, you'll have even more health problems. It all depends on your age, weight, activity level, etc. but meat must be balanced with other foods for long term health.0

You can never have enough chicken. I could eat it every day and never tire of it.0

Why would it be bad?0
