Hi everyone,
I just joined MFP (tmw will be the end of my first week). Yesterday was my first time exercising with a HRM. I plugged in my age, height, date of birth, sex, weight, etc. I did 30 minutes on a treadmill (C25k-Week1/Day1). It showed a calorie burn of 780 calories. As I said, it was my first time ever using a HRM so I'm not sure if this is the norm. Is there any thing I could have done to get a false reading? Or is it possible to get that high of a burn?

Highly depended upon your weight and how hard you are pushing yourself. If you are tiny, probably not accurate or something went wrong. but if you are north of 250...maybe0

Yes I am north of 250 and I was pushing myself. My heart rate reading percentage was in the high 80s and low 90s throughout most of it.0
