Cheat Days?

i allow myself 1 cheat day a week while dieting because, well i need a day of grace. On this cheat day i would watch my portions tho of what i ate.

My questions:
How do u go about having a cheat day?
Do you do cheat meals instead?
Has a cheat day every ruined your weekly progress?
Any tips? :)

    I make sure I hit my protein goals and fill the rest in with whatever. I don't need to cheat.

    I don't do cheat days or meals, because what exactly am I cheating on? I fit all the foods into my calories and macros as I can.

    Well, I don't do cheat meals bc in training for comp and it really does set me back. I sometimes gain 3lbs (granted its water weight) and it takes about a week to come off. However, definitely NOT a cheat day. Merely 2500 extra calories in a week can cause you to gain 1lb. So just think of that.
