My name is Tim and I weigh 281 lbs. I've weighed this much for almost 4 years now and I decided it was time I did something about it. I set myself a goal of losing 15 lbs by my 20th birthday at the end of August. My endgame is to be 185 lbs by my 21st birthday. As most I have a love-hate relationship with food, I love to eat it and lots of it but hate what happens as a result.

Tonight I started my journey by walking for 45 minutes at a 3 mph pace with my mother who also wants to get in better shape. Even after that walk I still feel full of energy and might walk for another 45 minutes perhaps even longer!

ps: I have a habit of rambling.
