I personally prefer the hard work and dedication as the weight wasn't put on overnight, so its not going to come off overnight or with a quick fix, either.0

Will have to try it0

I totally agree with you. But if its natural... Its just a little something extra for the kick0 -
Hi found this on a web site that had done some research into this
maybe. if you count about 1% body fat loss over 30 days… lol. statistically speaking, the findings were significant, but it’s surely not as magical as people are proclaiming!! drinking a thick paste twice a day for me to lose 1% body fat isn’t worth it. i’d rather do an extra 50 jumping jacks lol. but, honey and cinnamon have other health benefits. remember, this was just about the cleanse & its weight loss claims
as always, conduct your own SCHOLARLY research. especially when it comes to your health!!
warnings about cinnamon intake:
- often in supermarkets you don’t buy true cinnamon, but cassia (chinese cinnamon bark), which is a cheap cinnamon from china, vietnam and indonesia. it contains a potentially dangerous substance called coumarin. (unfortunately, saigon cinnamon is actually cassia. look for CEYLON cinnamon!)
- cassia should be avoided by pregnant women, those with liver disease, and diabetes
- coumarin is toxic to the liver, is an anticoagulant (it thins the blood), and has been shown to cause cancer in rodents
- the Tolerable Daily Intake (TDI) for coumarin of 0.07 mg per kg of bodyweight per day
- if you consume cassia over a period of time (such as with oatmeal a few times a week), you can greatly exceed your TDI
- cassia cinnamon should only be used sparingly, as a very light sprinkling, and not in teaspoon amounts
try to only buy CEYLON cinnamon. and again, conduct your own research, as it is YOUR health0 -
Honey and cinnamon, whatever next? Magic diet pills?
Sorry, there are no short cuts to losing weight apart from surgery, you need to consume less calories and be more active.0 -

I will have to look into this. I'm already on blood-thinning medication and I eat cinnamon almost daily! The stuff I'm using says "produce of more than one country", but no countries specified.0 -

But the problem is when you follow the citations. I don't have time to check all the fevered imaginings of some bloggers mind, but I did check the first two people/groups, the first person has done a study on bee honey, nothing to do with weight loss directly, the second concerns cinnamon oil, I quote "Mixtures of cinnamon and clove oils were tested for inhibitory activity against important spoilage microorganism of intermediate moisture foods", again nothing to do with weight loss directly. Because people quote medical/scientific references it doesn't mean they have anything to do with what the person is promoting, drug companies do this sort of thing all the time. Have a read of this guy, Ben Goldacre, a medical doctor who tries to cut through the bullsh*t promulgated by journalists, drug companies, quacks, fakes, etc - http://www.badscience.net/category/weight-loss/
"Because it's on the internet, it must be true" is not a good policy to follow.0 -
Once again, i wasnt trying to find a shortcut to loosing weight. K? Thanks0
