Weight loss after breast cancer

Any successs stories of loosing weight while on tamixifen or other breast cancer treatments?

I was put on letrozole (femara) after having my breast cancer removed and having chemo etc. I had many side effects which incapacitated me as far as exercising so I gained a lot of weight. Please note many people don't get the sort of side effects I suffered from.
After a year my oncologist switched me to tamoxifen (very few side effects for me) which I still take. I kept slowly gaining weight until beginning Oct 2015 - bad habits had set in. Then my doctor convinced me to start dieting because of now having hypertension. Since 2nd October, I have lost 8.4kg (18lb).

Tamoxifen had no effect on weight loss/gain for me.
