So I was looking at my nutrition page and I was surprised to see a high percentage of my calories were fat (I totally expected it to be carbs. So can u look at this and tell me if I should try and change up what I'm eating and what would be good percentages for weight loss?

Well, truthfully eating at deficit is eating at deficit, as long as you do that you will lose weight.
That said, if you are looking to hit closer to the percentages given by MFP for macros, I'd start with:

Leaner meat, grilled or baked would up the protein and pull from the fat count (also beans/nuts/legumes, fish is great if you like it, you get the idea). Get some more veggies and/or fruits in there, that's carbs without the fats and an awesome filler when combined with heavier foods. Try to make anything made with flour a little less frequent or make it the smallest part of the whole meal and definitely scale back a bit on greasy/fried items.
Food in, or still close to, it's natural form is typically more nutritionally dense with less fat. Also I'm not seeing any extras? Are you drinking anything other than water or using any spreads or sauces? If you aren't great, but if you are make sure you are counting them too.

There's no "wrong" way to eat in my opinion, you can't restrict yourself to much or else you'll never sustain it so personally I wouldn't recommend cutting anything to somebody else, but I think it would be to your (and your macros) benefit if you do spread the dough and oily/greasy stuff out a bit more.
I'm far from an expert but if I wanted to tweak your eating regimen, I'd start with trying to implement some of those changes.

I don't eat mammals and try to cover half my plate with veggies (I loathe most fruit) that are usually sauteed in water. I aim to cut out unnecessary calories wherever I can so I cut oil if I can use water; bread/bun/biscuit doesn't get butter if I'm eating it with any kind of meal that has a sauce; a sandwich has no butter if I am putting mustard or jelly or any other non-dry stuff on it, stuff like that. So if anything, I typically come under my fat percentage but I try to stay as close to MFP's numbers as I can. Doing that combined with 40 mins of cardio every second day I've lost just over 70 lbs in 5 months, so I'd guess the default numbers are pretty optimal for weight loss but I don't know enough about nutrition to tell you whether or not there is a better percentage than what we get here.

    Hope that helps. Good luck:)

That's not that much fat. Your protein is a bit low. You could try to give more calories to that.

There's a lot of cheese, and not many veggies. You could try to add some more salads or fresh veggies to even up the balance for long-term health. But as long as you're eating fewer calories than you burn, you should lose weight.

Screen shots of your diary won't show your macros by the gram. You would be better off setting it to public so others can see that information.

Oh yeah, I'm reading it wrong. It is showing the goal in grams not how much she consumed in grams. Derp.

The quiche is a ham, cheese and spinach quiche and I have veggies included about 3-4 days a week. Mostly spinach carrots green beans and broccoli. I didn't have any sauces those days and a lot of mine is recipes I figure out in grams/calories and divide. Some I can enter in on my recipes. Others I find easier to do on paper and pencil. I use spray butter for my veggies and count that too. I don't like ketchup and dressings but I do count the olive oil etc if I use it. My brunch is normally the same every day (as u can see) and my snacks are normally pretty much the same (slices of pepperoni (7) and low fat cottage cheese. With the occasional treat.

The macros by grams are on the pics right beside the words fat/protein/carbs. The pies beside them show percentages

What is your daily goal (in grams) for your macros?

It's the preset ones MFP automatically gave me. I also normally have more calories as I eat back my exercise calories (normally around half to 75% depending on if I had additional exercise I didn't know how to enter in)

Remember though, it's best to have 5 servings of fruit and veggies a day. Not a few 3/4 days a week. They're the best way to get your vitamins, and a few veggies in a quiche don't quite cut it.

But if it works and you're full, make sure you get a multivitamin too. I know I'd be starving with what you're eating though!

I just noticed my snacks were t showing :) trust me I'm not starving. There were snacks thrown in there too crud the snacks are probably where all the fat macros are coming from so I didn't show the most important part of the darn post :/ gotta figure out this diary stuff lol

Like today I haven't added in any snacking yet because I snack normally at night when I'm working on my school work (seriously why do the professors think you need a 5 page paper every week just because your in graduate school? I could say the same thing in 2 pages and not have to bs through the next 3 pages) anyway ya that's when I snack the most

Go into Settings, and then Diary Settings. You can change it to public.

Donuts and chips aren't your friends if you're trying to cut down on fats and carbs. Try making yourself a huge heaping bowl of carrot slices and bite-sized pieces of celery. Munch on that while you're writing your next paper. You'll satisfy your need for "crunch" and get veggies in your diet at the same time.

Your fat isn't that high. You might just try and make it healthier fats, like olive oil or nuts. And add more protein, and more veggies.

But you've lost a good amount of weight and if you're not hungry, it's more than what I can say, as I would be starving with your diet, honestly, so a part of me thinks that if it isn't broken, you don't really have to fix it.

I will try and resist my daily sweet everyday lol. I think boiled egg for 70 calories or.... A half a serving of potato chips and the chips win almost every time :D

I would rather go hungry than eat carrots and celery. They would not work at all for me.

Me too. I can't munch on celery and carrots. In a small salad, yes.

What you could try is chicken breast for stir fry. Or chicken breast cutlets. I ask the butcher to cut them down to small pieces if not avail.

Cook them with no oils, cover. Takes about 8 minutes, lightly season. (They are not dry or get dried out if covered while cooking.) Very low in calories for 6-8 ounces and a lot of protien. Only 4.5 grams of fat. Very filling and I dont get hungry, and search for snacks.

You can cook up a pound and microwave the other half for the next day and it tastes as good..Also if you like pizza...pizza hut has any medium 6.99..I opt for chicken and mushrooms, thin crust. Its very good and 3 slices for I believe less then 500 calories.

I know you were opting for less fat, but protien helps keep you fuller, longer as well as fat..Try to opt for high fiber as well. For a snack, something sweet, I have two jolly ranchers and im good or a rice crispy treat. Small ones have 90 calories and 2 grams of fat.

Btw, congratulations on your loss....looks like you got it this!

Ty everyone. I will definitely try and watch my fat intake and up my protein. I may just make mine and my Hubbys meals (he's on MFP with me) at the beginning of the week and cook the kids their own meals
