I love reading the success stories and am always in awe at the determination and strength people have to continue their journey. I want that! I want to be as determined as that..I just can't seem to keep going past the first couple of days. So I'm here again this time trying the support of the boards. Ive got about 75lbs to loose.... strange last year I only had 50 to loose so obviously I need to change something.

You can do this. Two tips: Do not set weight loss goal too high, you will get more calories per day so it will be sustainable. The other tip is, get a food scale and start weighing food from the start. Weighing food will get you good at eyeballing amounts.
