Is it possible to undo eating over TDEE?

I know the excersise is factored in already and like today for example I ate 2200 and my TDEE is only 2130 is there a way to get back into a deficit, considering the fact that the way TDEE works is factoring in your exercise for the week into your daily cals??

Oh and I forgot to say my TDEE was calculated with the 3-5 exercise a week option.

I suppose if you simply exercise more than your normal amount? I don't use tdee. I use mfp numbers and add in my exercise since it varies.

Either exercise more, or you can take some food calories out from other days. A weekly deficit is what counts. But honestly if it's just once, I'd write it off and try to forget about it.

Okay thanks for the input! This is the second time going over maintenance in two weeks due to school stress and other factors.

you will do better - the holidays is fast coming upon us and we do NOT want to stress for any reason- if one day you go over- just eat a little under(not drastically) but enough so that you will be back on track the next day and keep going! NEVER give up

A single day will not derail your progress, just like a single day of eating in balance will not counter balance against years of eating too much.

What about looking at it weekly? That's how I do it. My days may go up and down but my weekly TDEE budget is met.

Log it and move on. 100 calories one day over your TDEE will not brake or make you.
