How do I figure this?

Decided tonight was pizza night. Went to Great Alaska Pizza Company and got a large (14") meat pizza for the fam, and I got a "Wedgie." I was able to choose 2 free toppings; I only got tomato. So I figured it would be like a calzone and I'd just count it as a small cheese pizza w/tomatoes. But this thing had barely more than a spit of sauce and no cheese! It was just the small (12") pizza dough folded over some diced tomato and baked. Seriously disappointed I had to waste calories on it. I even gave 1/3 of it to the dog because I couldn't stomach another bite. How do I figure out what the nutrition likely was for that crap?

Best guess? 250 per slice. IDK

No help with the calories, but my commiseration on the disappointment food. I have no issues spending calories on something, but nothing irks me more than wasting calories on a food that's not worth it.

If that shop's pizza isn't in the MFP database, pick something close from one of the national chains and use that. You'll at least be in the ballpark.

Unfortunately disappointment doesn't change the calorie count.

What I'm getting at is that it wasn't something I could compare. There was NO CHEESE. Just dough and tomatoes. I was going to find a "small cheese pizza" and count that, but I can't do that here.

Is there a database entry for pizza dough or pizza base? You could add that and some tomatoes and maybe a tsp of oil (they will have oiled the pan) and call it a best guess.

You are going to have to just ballpark it. It's hard at first but you do get better at.

You can look up the components you had on the pizza separately and guestimate the serving sizes.

Okay. I guesstimated about 7.25oz of dough, 1/2c of diced tomatoes, and 1 tsp canola oil for a total of 537 calories. That leaves me with 6-800 calories left so I might be able to salvage tonight after all. :) Thanks for the help!
