I looked at a post this morning that went into depth about calories in/out. The poster referenced a site called fat2fit radio.
Im guessing many of you know about this site already, but in the event you don't? Check it out! http://www.fat2fitradio.com/
I've been in discussion about what I should weigh, how I should go about losing the weight and calorie consumption to achieve that goal. Based on the information there, My goal weight is less than it should be be by about 5 lbs. I put 155 as a personal goal. This site suggests closer to 160 based on my guess at my body fat%. I need to find out what that is and then input that number. I think I was off but really not sure...
While no calculator will give you precise information - (everyone is different) this does give you a good idea. Most of the calculators require you to input age, current weight and goal weight plus height. some ask for your current body fat % and where you would like to be. charts explain where you fit in. I'm in the OK, healthy range - but my goal is the Slender / healthy range.
It has an APP for Android and Apple that has the calculators. Free. This site is supported soley by the users. The site is free.
I was impressed.!
