Looking to buy a fitness watch/heart monitor. Any suggestions? features I should look for? Most reliable brand? There are so many on the market, I don't know how to choose.

What are you looking to use it for?

Www.dcrainmaker.com does a lot of reviews. Many people use it as a reference.

If you are looking for a GPS I always recommend Garmins. Most models come with a HRM but you have to check the specs - not every model that has a GPS bases the calorie estimate on HR. my 405 doesn't by I believe the 110 and the 900 models do.

A lot of people are going to recommend Polar for a HRM - most models do not have a GPS so you want to check that before going with one.

I have a garmin 610 and I like it, but it's not cheap. I sent back the 210 because it has a stupid data connection cable that caused me no end of grief and my mates 110 is very slow at acquiring satellite locks...
