Initial weight gain

I have been bulking for about a month now and am up about 5 pounds. I am a 21 year old women. I am just wondering if that is the initial weight gain everyone talks about, or should I cut back my calories. My mantainence calories are about 1650. On non workout days I eat about 1850. I burn about 400 calories on workout days and consume about 2200 on those days. Any advise?

guideline is something around 1/2 lb - 1lb increase a week and i have no clue on any kind of fitness watch but this iffym calc http://iifym.com/iifym-calculator/ will probably give you a more accurate maintenance and bulking0

I did use that to get an idea. It says I should bulk at about 2100 calories, but I feel like on non workout days that is a very high surplus and on workout days it is a really small one.0
