Food Weight

Hi there :)
I'm pretty new to all this and I have a question about weighing food as I want to be sure I am logging my food accurately. I use a digital scale in grams to weigh all my food (and most liquids).

Example: I want to add Broccoli to my dinner (and chicken or beef ). Do I weigh the food before or after it is cooked?
I made a stir-fry yesterday but only weighed and logged the raw vegetables and meat and I am wondering if I have been doing it wrong? Or an I just over-thinking/over-complicating things?

Thanks for your help

I always use the raw weights as well. The cooked weights are less accurate to me as it depends on how long you cook things for.

Have you read the beginner threads for food weighing?

    The link for you.

Thanks for the link. The first time I read it I didn't quite understand it, now I have read it several times I am happy that I have got it. Basically make the log entry reflect what I weighed. So I will carry on with my raw weights. The only thing I (think I) log that is a cooked weight is boiled eggs.
    Thanks for your help
