Some wins, some frustration.

After a 2 week stay in the hospital in the end of August, where I gained about 6 lbs, I cannot take it off. I've stayed under my calories about 95% of the time, and went from doing the same exercise video 4-5 days a week, I've started Rockin Body 6 days a week. I burn between 600-1000 calories depending on the scheduled workouts.
I'm on medication that slows my metabolism And my last bloodwork shows my thyroid is still slow so it's like my body is fighting me.
Even with the step up in workouts and calorie deficits, I gain and lose the same 2-3 lbs over and over.
BUT
I've lost 3 inches from my waist 3 from my hips, 2 from my thighs.
How is that even possible that I'm losing inches so much that I see the difference, but not one pound.

Nice on the lost inches!! How long do you do your workouts for? That seems like a really high burn and over estimating calories burned often trips people up. Are you eating all of your exercise calories back? If you are, try only eating back half the calories, and you should see the scale drop.0

I'll echo @fiddletime. Impressive loss inches-wise! I also think your calorie burn seems high. How long do you have to be on the medication that slows your metabolism?0

The workouts are from 45 minutes to over an hour. It's the same guy that does the Insanity workouts from Beachbody. These are just more dance-y. I sweat through the whole thing.
I'm on this medicine for the long haul unfortunately.
I never eat all of my calories back but I will try to eat less of them.
