My soups are just packets of diced fresh veg soup mixes from Sainsbury's, boiled with a Knorr stockpot and blended! Jamie Oliver has some nice recipes though http://www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/0

BBC good food is a good place for meal ideas. I find leftover veg is a good soup starting point. Squash too. River cottage is another good place. This soup is a fav of mine https://www.rivercottage.net/recipes/butternut-nut-butter-soup0
