MFP changed my calorie goal...

So I lost 15 lbs. so the site prompted me to re configure my calorie goal- which I did do...

It changed about 100 cal's less- the only probelm I am having is now my calorie goal is 1220. When I have a deficit for the day its always below 1200. I am worried this is too low seeing as I dont always eat back my calories...

I am thinking of changing it back to 1320 because it gave me a little more wiggle room and it was working...
"if its not broke dont fix it" I thnk maybe I should readjust when I am at a stand still with weightloss I think I may reevaluate.

Any feedback is appreciated

You can customize your goals if you like, but the calorie goal includes your deficit already. You should eat up to your calorie target each day, and if you didn't use your exercise in choosing your activity level when setting MFP up, then you should be eating back at least half of your exercise calories. I guess I'm just not understanding the "when I have a deficit for the day".

(And if you occasionally drop below 1200, it's not the end of the world. However, just make sure that you are eating enough to fuel your activities. Many people do not need to eat that few calories to lose weight.)

What is your weight loss goal per week now? You may need to bump it down. Or just manually change your calories back to where they were.

The closer you are to goal the lower the weight loss per week should be.

Why not eat back some of your exercise calories then? What would be the difference? It changed the goal because the smaller you get, the less fuel you need. I'd eat some calories back, I guess. I am currently eating at right around my sedentary TDEE and not eating back calories, which works out to be about the same as what I would be eating if I ate back calories and went MFP's way. I just like it a bit better. I set my goals manually.
