What do you mean by real food? What do you normally eat that isn't?

You're no fun, I was hoping the wine kicked in.

When people say they eat clean, they often seem to eat clean as an alternative to counting calories. Could you be eating more calories than you think?

Pretty sure clean or not, it doesn't matter if your not in a deficit.

Answering based on the assumption the rest of the op post went something like "I eat real food on the weekend but don't lose weight or even gain weight, is it the weekend good that's the problem"

I eat clean because I wash my hands. And then I open the wine.

Ok, that's probably not helpful, so I'll be helpful... if you aren't happy with how you're eating, then it's not the way of eating you should be following. Also, I literally have no idea what "eating clean" means, but if you can't stick to it, it's not going to work no matter what it means.

I ate 100% "clean" and I gained weight because I was eating at a calorie surplus (and expensive one at that)

But that's the fun part! The posting on the Alli thread has slowed way down--we need another source of fun entertainment!

A calorie deficit is the only requirement for weight loss, everything outside of that is preference.

Make sure you eat real food all the time, just work it into your calorie goals.

Nothing wrong with eating loads of vegetables, fruits, and other wholesome foods, but remember food type has nothing to do with weight loss.

Even though it appears some of your words fell into a black hole, I hope my words are helpful to you. :)

I consider all food real food. Some food is just heavier than other foods, meaning you can have a smaller portion...
