All my pukka teas I drink during the day are listed as 0 cals in MFP, whilst this seems wonderful surely it's not right??

Since I had no idea what Pukka tea was I looked it up and it is like any other herbal tea that is 0 calories. It seems like it should have calories but basically its flavored water because you steeped it in herbs.

Most herbal teas have less than 5 calories per seve, in the US it will be labelled as 0 calories.
I live in Australia and the Twinings peppermint tea I have is listed as 20 kj per serve, just under. 5 calories.
I only drink 1 a day or even less often, so I don't bother counting but if I drunk more I would count it.

I drink about 5 a day but I guess if I'm still only talking 25 cals max it's not worth sweating!

Yup, unless they have a sweetener added, the calories tend to be negligible. Plus the FDA allows companies to label anything that has less than 5 cals a serve as 0 cals. But I like on herbal tea at work (lemongrass and ginger is my fav). It's lovely.

I'm all about peppermint, or berry...or nettle... ah I love them all! Plus I used to be a caffeine fiend so it's stopped that!!

This is a bit of an old post - but if any of you are interested I emailed Pukka and they say all their teas are under 4 cals :-)
