I'm 66 years of age, 278 pounds love this site don;t have to look up calories it does it for you, and we all know it's helpful to keep a food log. I can't walk at this time have a ulcer on large right toe and doctor says to say off it, I wear a special boot on foot. Also fell and have screws in right elbow so have to learn to use arm and hand all over again. Would love some advice and help. Will weight after a week.

Since you can't walk right now, I guess the biggest thing you can do is concentrate on your food. Do you have a food scale?

Exercise isn't necessary for weight loss - just make sure you are accurately logging your calories!
    Good luck :)
