In the past weekends always destroy my diet. It's discouraging, I want to change this! What are tips and tricks to make it through the less structure more social weekends ?

Eat less during the week so you can set aside more for the weekends.0

weekends provide for more fitness time...i indulge more on weekends (mostly with the beer)...i'm also way more active. weekends are great for long rides on the bike and getting a good session in the weight room...not to mention just being out and about doing things...taking my kids to the zoo, hitting the pool, etc.
my diet isn't vastly different on the weekends, i just tend to drink a little more as we tend to get together with friends on Saturday evenings...but it all works out.0 -

This is a great question, as I also struggle a bit with weekends. We tend to go out to eat on the weekends, because we find it a nice change of pace from the hectic pace of the week. I am pretty much at maintenance now (5'8" 148-150 pounds) and I want to stay there. I have found the things that work best for me so far is to stick to my longer workouts on the weekend, eat 1/2 of whatever I order when we go out, and drink my normal 8-9 glasses of water each day. I also pre-log the day so I know what I am aiming for.
Hope that helps!0 -
I'm more active on the weekends as well. Last weekend I went on a three mile hike with my mother and brother. I also hit the gym at least once.0

I'd definitely suggest 'banking' calories from during the week for indulgences at the weekend!
It's pretty much saved my weekends!0
