Hello,
The name here is Jay. I am 60 years old. I started out at 245 lbs and a very sedentary lifestyle. I am 5'6" and my ideal weight would be around 160. I have lost 45 lbs fairly quick by cutting out processed flour and sugar, along with exercising 60 minutes per day on an eliptical trainer.
I feel much better, with more energy than I've had in years.
I am hovering right at 200lbs now and can't seem to break the plateau. I am consuming around 1200 calories a day and continuing exercise. Not sure what to do to break below the 200 mark.
Would love to hear opinions. J

Sometimes you are just not eating enough. That would cause you to plateau.0

Thanks for your input. I have heard this before. It is hard for me to allow myself to increase caloric intake when I have worked so hard to get where I am. J0
