Hello from Malaysia (Today)

Just wanted to say hello to everyone. Seems like a waste to just use the training log and never "speak" to anyone here. As for why I'm here, I am hoping to develop some good habits:

- consistent exercise, without "plan hoping" between whatever I read in the latest $15 magazine I bought in an airport
- consistent healthy eating. This should be easy for me, but I get lazy and eat whatever
- help other people who are truly new to not make some of the mistakes I've made in the past with regard to the above.

Like a lot of people here I've been very fit in the not too distant past. An injury or two, a couple of kids, a job change, 12 hour work days, a quarter of a million miles of travel each year, and the equivalent of a small hotel gym for 6 months out of the year and I don't have to look far for an excuse to slack off. I'd just like to be consistent to start, to develop good habits and keep going. I've hired an online coach, who I think will provide some good guidance and consistency whether I'm home or away. I have some specific goals, but generally I think the habits above are the key.

If you can help, or if you need help, please don't hesitate to ask. Good luck to every one in the coming new year.

Long work days with nothing to go back to but a crappy hotel gym. Let's trash the excuses and keep each other motivated :)
