High Protein, Low Calorie ---Strawberry Crepes!
I just made these for breakfast and I loved them! Loaded with protein- 21 grams! And it came out to only about 168 calories!
Ingredients:
13 grams (1/3 scoop) strawberry protein powder -50 cal
1 tablespoon whole wheat flour- 28 cal
5 tablespoons egg beaters-42 cal
1 tablespoon light cool whip- 10 cal
1/8th cup Greek Yogurt- 16 cal
1 stevia packet - 0 cal
3 strawberries- 17 cal
1 tablespoon sugar free syrup- 5 cal
Directions:
1. Mix the powder, eggs and flour in a bowl. Stir until combined
2. On a sprayed pan, pour some of the batter in and move around the pan so that the batter makes a thin coating on the pan.
3. Wait until the crepe is cooked. No need to flip. It cooks all the way through
4. Mix the yogurt, cool whip and stevia. Spread on crepe.
5. Cut up strawberries and place on yogurt mixture.
6. Fold crepe
7. Drizzle with syrup
8. Enjoy!
Depending on pan size will determine how many you get out of this recipe. I used a huge pan so I got out one huge crepe and one medium sized crepe!
