hi there so I have been working out decently hard for 3 months have lost some weight n toned up a lot. My arms and legs r starting to looked ripped with crazy definition. Upper thigh hips n mid stomach not so much. I have read that the body uses fat store from extremities first n midsection last. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this n over came it and roughly how long it took for the mid section to catch up to the rest of the body.

My calf for an example of the definition I'm starting to get.

I have never heard that. We can't control where fat comes off first. I am the opposite. I lose quickly in my tummy and upper body and find it very difficult to lose from the lower body. Ever.

Really I was just googling it a bit before posting. Ya I get the fact that no control over where fat loss occurs and genetics and all that, but maybe my google sources weren't very accurate. Was a fitness article from somewhere. You r luck to loose in tummy quickly. I have lost for sure, just not to the degree the rest of my body has. Whether it be there is more fat in midsection to limbs in comparison idk. Just curious if any one had experienced the same n how long till they evened out. Also understand everyone is different.

I lose from my arms and back first. My teammate loses from her arms and back last. There's no way to tell when you'll feel like they are evened out. When I finally got to the point that I was happy with my body I thought my face was too skinny.

I can kind of see what you are saying

It is easier to see added calf muscle

It is easier to see added tricep muscle

So it seems you are leaning out there.

The great thing is that you are seeing changes you like and are psyched about it!

Congrats and stick with what is working!

Ditto. I actually didn't get as lean as I wished before my face started looking way too thin. Ah well!

I adjusted to it eventually. Now that I'm at the end of my bulk I think my face is super fat, but it's really normal.

I didn't give it any time. Got impatient and went right into a surplus. Wonder how I'll feel after another 10 lbs lol.
