Activity Tracker recommendations for accurate daily calorie expendature

I'm looking for options on an activity tracker that will give a good estimate on day to day calories burned during non high exercise activities like going to work, chores, etc. (will wear a hrm/running watch in actual workout situations).
From what I've been reading it doesn't seem like any of the trackers with built in optical hrm actually calculate calories burned via heart rate for non typical exercise? Or for non typical exercise/movement would the accelerometer and usual weight/height/age formulas give a better estimate of expendature?
Ether way looking for device recommendations. The Garmin 230/235/630 series have my eye as they do activity tracking plus have the high cardio capability too. But also open to actual activity tracker options.
Thanks
